A Pocket Diaper Made for Wool-Loving Families

I’ve been running this cloth diaper business for almost 4 years now. For those years, one request has stayed in the back of my mind.
An easier option than folding or fitting absorbencies under woolen diapers. A Wool Pocket diaper.

Even other business owners I’m networking with are trying to create a solution that makes a wool diaper a one-step system. Something easier to put on, so grandparents could be involved or daycares can use them too.

This month I launched my first pocket-style diaper for our wool covers, and the response couldn’t be any better.

Good things take time, I guess, but in the end, the solution seems pretty simple:
A Pocket – made with ruffled edges to keep blowouts inside the diaper. It has a large enough gap to fit an adult's hand comfortably, and you can fill it with basically anything you want.

 Prepare, store, and use as you change diapers.

The design works for different wool diaper sizes. You can fit them into One-size diapers or larger overnight woollies.

The benefits are endless; you don’t have to learn to fold flat or pre-flat diapers, which is great for anyone who's hesitant. And for my personal favorite, it finally makes wool diapers a one-step system. Because I admit, with all the love for our environment, having this one extra step at every change sometimes made me question my life decisions. Especially in those stressful situations, and all parents have them.

I think changing a wool diaper on the go has become so much easier with the Sweet Pea Pockets, as you can technically fit them on a standing child with ease.

The pocket stores and washes like all your other absorbencies. You can wash it in your usual diaper routine. It is 100% cotton, so you can wash it up to 95°C to sanitize, but usually 60 to 40°C is sufficient; please read our washing guidelines.

This is suited for all caregivers who want the benefits of natural wool diapers without the polyester wrap around their children, but still want the convenience of a commonly used reusable pocket diaper.

Now, for the curious, I offer two absorbency strengths: one average and one heavy-wetter trifold.
I’m especially proud of the loop trifold style I created for the babies that leak through every disposable at night.  It has so many layers that it holds an incredible amount of 220ml (way more than the average 4-year-old bladder). You can check them out here.

The loop style still dries easily, even without a dryer.
If you know me, I still don’t own a dryer and had two children in cloth diapers (most of that at the same time).
